Every student gets the same skills to practice in most classrooms. Splash Math Learning Program provides a totally different experience. Splash Math is able to figure out what the current math proficiency of each student in a class, and what he/she’s struggling with. Splash Math recommends the best math skill to work on next for that individual student in real time. So in a class of 20 students, every student might be working on a different concept, different types of problems or at various levels of difficulty.

Splash Math provides a personalised learning environment for each student. Each student's learning experience is personalised with the following:

  1. Personalised Next Up Recommendation
  2. Adaptive Learning Algorithm within each skill
  3. Learning Path
  4. Assessments & Placement Tests (coming soon)

1. Personalised Next Up Recommendation

Splash Math automatically recommends the next skill for the student on the top of student dashboard.

2. Adaptive Learning Algorithm within each skill

When the student hits "Start" on any of the skills in the curriculum, the Splash Math algorithm starts to personalise the experience. Each student starts at the same level in the skill and then based on the responses, the student might master the skill in different number of problems. For example: If there are 3 students:

Student1 - Strong in Addition

Responses: ✔  ✔  ✔

# of Problems for Mastery: 16 problems to master the skill

Student2 - Average in Addition

Responses: ✘  ✔  ✔   ✔

              ✔✔  ✔

# of Problems for Mastery: 28 problems to master the skill

Student3 - Struggling in Addition

Responses: ✘  ✔  ✔

              ✔ ✔  ✔

# of Problems for Mastery: 48 problems to master the skill

3. Learning Path
